an S-coupe competitor. now that would be something. although the current XJ isn't my favorite jaguar design.

That was on my list of possible cars to get, I got the 240Z but I liked the idea of that Jag coupe. Its totally on my list of cars I will get with more money and space. I saw one with a crapped out motor and I really thought about swapping it.

Coincidentally, the Wheeler Dealer guys just did a XJ C six cylinder. The market for them does seem to be going up as most seemed to be listed at the equivalence of $23k. Of course, that's in Blighty.

It could have been an old episode that that was new to Velocity, at least the Comcast guide listed it as new.
